Last night’s event with @barbacoachef was such a blast! We served over 300 people and raised over $5,000 for Philadelphia’s undocumented community. It was a privilege to serve my Rainbow Winter Radish bites which featured nearly 100% northeastern produce with help from @lancasterfarmfresh. Green and Purple Daikon with my pickled carrots, caramelized onion remoulade, cilantro, chili, chive and lime. Big thanks to Chris’ Jazz Cafe for sharing their lovely kitchen with us and for my Philly chef community for bringing it hard. Love y’all 💗 #radicalfood #nohumanisillegal #endmassincarceration #blacklivesmatter #transrightsarehumanrights #eclectikdomestic
Exciting news! I got a partial scholarship to @joymanning‘s @bluestoopphl food writing class starting at the end of the month. I’m looking forward to coming back to creative writing and learning from a master.
Over the years I have struggled to express myself in food and activist writing, as I have been unsure of my voice or qualifications. As I settle into my identities and grow more confident in my work, I’m excited to share with y’all everything I have gleaned from my travels over the years. I have already made the financial investment to attend Manning's class and want to ask you for your support.
If you believe in my work and are able to donate, please consider contributing financially via Venmo (@eclkdomestic) or my Patreon (link in bio). Thank you for following along 💕

I am honored to be a part of a talented group of chefs coming together to support undocumented workers, who are a vital part of the restaurant industry in the States. I have never worked in a restaurant that did not employee undocumented workers. It is time that we stand up for these professional and hard working people. Join us in supporting Philadelphia’s undocumented community this Thursday, January 17th from 6-10pm @chrisjazzcafephilly with tacos, tequila and music! Pay-what-you-want and support this worthy cause. #radicalfood #nohumanisillegal #abolishice #familiesbelongtogether #immigrantsmakeamericagreat #nobannowall #solidarity #itmfa #eclectikdomestic
